Learning builds character before it builds knowledge.
Welcome to our Elementary Division, where children are valued, heard, and inspired to grow! As Head of the Elementary Division, I believe deeply in nurturing the whole child—academically, socially, and emotionally—in alignment with RHHS’s mission of developing compassionate, respectful, and lifelong inquirers. Guided by the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP), our learning is grounded in inquiry, curiosity, and meaningful connections to the world around us. We strive to empower students to embrace agency and take ownership of their learning by asking questions, thinking critically, collaborating with others, and reflecting on their thinking as they grow into caring, knowledgeable, and responsible global citizens. Strong partnerships with families are central to our work, and we are truly grateful for the trust and support you place in us. Together, we foster a safe and joyful learning environment that reflects our shared vision of empowering self-directed
learners who are prepared to contribute positively to an interconnected world. I look forward to working alongside you as we guide our learners on a meaningful journey of discovery, growth, and purpose.
RHHS Elementary Division
The Elementary Division follows the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP), offering a rich, inquiry‑based curriculum that nurtures the whole child. Learning experiences are designed to develop knowledge, understanding, and skills across key subject areas, including Language, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, the Arts, and Personal and Physical Education, with a strong emphasis on conceptual understanding and real‑world connections. To support language development, an Arabic support program is available for students who meet specific criteria and require additional assistance. This targeted support aims to build confidence and strengthen proficiency in Arabic. Across the division, learning environments promote curiosity,

collaboration, reflection, and student voice, ensuring that children feel motivated to actively engage in their learning. Opportunities for learning are further enhanced through hands on experiences, school events, and educational outings. These experiences broaden students’ perspectives, deepen understanding, and allow learners to explore ideas beyond the classroom in purposeful and engaging ways.
