The International Baccalaureate (IB) is a globally recognized educational framework that develops inquiring, knowledgeable, and caring young people. Rooted in intercultural understanding and respect, the IB aims to prepare students to contribute positively to a more peaceful and interconnected world. At its core, the IB mission goes beyond academic achievement to foster ethical leadership, global awareness, and lifelong learning.
The IB Diploma Programme (IBDP) is offered to students in Grades 11–12 (ages 16–19). It is available to Lebanese students and students holding dual nationality. Lebanese students must meet the requirements set by the Ministry of Education to obtain equivalency with the Lebanese Baccalaureate. Strong proficiency in English is required, as instruction is delivered in English except for language acquisition courses.
The IB Diploma Programme is a rigorous two-year pre-university program designed to develop students academically, intellectually, emotionally, and ethically.
